I have always had this itch to visit India. I pictured all the colors, meeting people and exploring the endless villages. The 10 days I spent there were visually and emotionally overwhelming. Before going I was aware of the dense poverty throughout the country, but nothing could prepare me for walking the streets of this beautiful but desolate place. The people I met were excited to show me their life and learn about mine even though they have so little. Out of the thousands of photos I captured, it was a process to narrow them down to my favorites. Through these 40 photos, I tried to capture everyday glimpses from this lively country.
